Working in India since 1972, AAA currently operates out of 12 Regional Offices, spread across 25 States and one Union Territory. A non-profit, AAA has been working with people, by building their agencies and solidarities at local, national and international levels.
Duties and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities include:-

  • Help in setting up the project review teams in consultation with relevant functions.
  • Ensure timely disbursement of project funds after necessary approvals.
  • Responsible for managing the Projects MIS in the Programmes Unit.
  • Follow up on programmatic, financial and other statutory requirements for Long term and Short term initiatives.
  • Responsible for maintaining the filing and documentation system in the Programmes Unit.
  • Support in compiling the plans and budgets of various projects and programmes of ActionAid India.
  • Responsible for handling National Fund (NF) proposals (short term projects) including follow up of project proposals inviting feedback, ensuring approvals and fund disbursement.
  • Support the unit in programme reviews, appraisals and other strategic processes.
  • Assist in programme monitoring and evaluation of the projects.
  • Generate learning and support program development.
  • Support in building internal and external linkages to ensure smooth implementation of programmes.
  • Preparation of reports based on timelines.
  • Database Management and analysis.

Skills and Competencies
  • Be a Post Graduate in Social Sciences/Social Work/Rural Development/ Management;
  • Preferably 3 years’ experience in project management.
  • be a good team player, gender sensitive, having conviction and skills for the empowerment of the poor and disadvantaged groups;
  • have proficiency in all applications of MS Office, especially Word and Excel;
  • Be willing to travel.
Salary & Benefits ApproxINR 4.73 Lakhs CTO (Cost to Organisation)/ per annum – this includes PF contribution.In addition, other benefits – Group Medical Insurance with coverage of Staff & Dependents; Personal Accident Insurance of staff and gratuity is payable as per law and norms of the organisation.
